Hi, that was NOT a good idea... I am using KDE, not Gnome, and the networkmanagement applet is not compatible with that newer network manager. So I had no internet connection anymore to do the downgrade. Had to find a place near the router where I could manually set up a wired connection... anyway, it's working again now, with the old version.
So, it seems I can't test that, sorry.
