Dear Gkrellm developer, a Debian user report this kernel oops with
gkrellm 2.3.4 (he's still not able to test 2.3.5) - do you think it
could be possibly be generated by gkrellm?

A kernel NULL pointer dereference sounds more like a bug in the kernel that is triggered by gkrellm (a userland application has no direct access to kernel pointers). The "last sysfs file" suggests a problem while querying the pwm2 fan speed sensor.

This will probably just go away by using a gkrellm that uses libsensors instead of directly reading sysfs contents.

Bye,
