Package: systemd
Version: 29-1.1
Severity: wishlist

systemd ships with /usr/share/doc/systemd/sd-daemon.[ch].gz, which is
all nice, one can easily copy it to one's own project that needs it, but
it would be - at least in my opinion - easier if either systemd or a
systemd-dev package or similar would provide those files uncompressed,
so software that wants to support systemd, and needs these files (and
possibly sd-readahead.[ch], also in the same dir) could just
build-depend on whatever package provides these, instead of having a
number of copies in our sources.

(Though, most sources would still have an embedded copy, to be able to
compile on systems where these files are not provided by a package, but
at least on Debian, we could use the latest and greatest upstream
version.)
