I would like to point out that Atftpd does not respond
identically for multicasts under Linux and kFreeBSD.

Turning on tracing on the client side will reveal:

  server GNU/Linux, client GNU/Linux:
  -----------------------------------

        (immediate answer)

     received OACK <multicast: 239.239.239.0,1758,1>

(whence the client is designated as master client)

  server GNU/kFreeBSD, client GNU/Linux:
  --------------------------------------

        (delayed at least one RRQ)

     received OACK <multicast: 239.239.239.0,1758,0>

     tftp: packet discard <"unicast address":"port">
     source address or port mismatch

(thus the client is only secondary client)

Which one of server side, or client side, that would be
mistreating addresses and master/slave roles, this must
be clarified.

Best regards,
  Mats Erik Andersson, DM
