Hi guys, I maintain the ttf-freefont package and it's my fault if bugs were not handled promptly. Spare time ha dramatically decreased in the past 2 years and motivation has consequently decreased as well, so I guess the best I can do ATM is give up maintaining the package, since I don't think things are likely to change in the (near) future.
