Package: im-switch
Version: 1.20ubuntu3
Severity: minor

If I run im-switch -c, change the input method, and then hit the
Cancel button, two slightly annoying things happen:

1. The message about re-starting X is shown. This could make the user
believe that the IM has been changed (i.e. that OK rather than Cancel
was selected).

2. A new symlink is created in ~/.xinput.d/ even though it is
identical to the old one. Again, this could confuse the user. It
certainly confused me: at first I thought that im-switch was changing
my IM even though I’d hit Cancel!
