Package: im-switch Version: 1.20ubuntu3 Severity: minor
If I run im-switch -c, change the input method, and then hit the Cancel button, two slightly annoying things happen: 1. The message about re-starting X is shown. This could make the user believe that the IM has been changed (i.e. that OK rather than Cancel was selected). 2. A new symlink is created in ~/.xinput.d/ even though it is identical to the old one. Again, this could confuse the user. It certainly confused me: at first I thought that im-switch was changing my IM even though I’d hit Cancel! -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers natty-updates APT policy: (500, 'natty-updates'), (500, 'natty-security'), (500, 'natty') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.38-11-generic (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash im-switch depends on no packages.
