Package: epiphany
Version: 2.30.6

When I try to log in to my gmail account with epiphany, I normally
access the login page and I fill user name and password. Then the
browser starts to connect to the gmail server and meanwhile it is
loading it closes unexpectedly. When I start epiphany again, in the
first pop up window, I ask to restore the previous session. The browser
shows this address:

https://mail.google.com/mail/?shva=1

and this message:

Blank page
This page was loading when the web browser closed unexpectedly. This
might happen again if you reload the page. If it does, please report the
problem to the Debian developers.

I tried to log in to my gmail account several times, with the same
result each time.

I started to use my actual computer in June and I have installed Debian
squeeze from the beginning. This is my first attempt to use epiphany to
access my gmail account under squeeze.

I have been able to access my gmail by the epiphany browser with another
computer running lenny. Unfortunately, I am not able to give further
details, since I erased the hard disk containing lenny and I discarded
the computer.

I add some other information that might be useful:

Kernel : Linux 2.6.32-5-686 (i686)
Compiled : #1 SMP Mon Jun 13 04:13:06 UTC 2011
C Library : GNU C Library version 2.11.2 (stable)
Default C Compiler : GNU C Compiler version 4.4.5 (Debian 4.4.5-8)
Distribution : Debian GNU/Linux 6.0.2

Thank you in advance for your effort.

Best Regards
Stefano Fazzi
