Package: maildirsync
Version: 1.2-1
Severity: normal

Hi;

In release 1.2 the default for a command to invoke on the remote host
is changed from "maildirsync" to maildirsync.pl . Since this file
doesn't exist debian systems (and basically shouldn't, by policy),
then anybody using maildirsync against a debian server has their setup
broken when the client is upgraded. Of course it is pretty easy to fix,
but still needs scripts to be adjusted.

I don't really know the justification for the change, but I think it
deserves at least a NEWS.Debian entry if you insist on the .pl ending.

all the best,

David
