Hi Daniel, I tried with your new version: file_5.08-1_amd64.deb (http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/pool/main/f/file/file_5.08-1_amd64.deb) it has not work yet. Seems that this package contains the 5.08 and not 5.08-1 version.
