Hi!
Sorry that this is not reported using reportbug, it does not work for me at the
moment.
There is an error in the GTK file chooser, but only via Geany it seems:
Start geany from terminal:
$ geany -v

Then click on "Open" button to get the file selector. This warning appears
on the terminal, but it might not be related to this bug:
(geany:2595): GVFS-RemoteVolumeMonitor-WARNING **: invoking IsSupported()
failed for remote volume monitor with dbus name

Then click on "File System" in the "Places" section. This warning appears:
(geany:2595): Gtk-CRITICAL **: _gtk_file_chooser_entry_set_file_part: assertion
`GTK_IS_FILE_CHOOSER_ENTRY (chooser_entry)' failed
Notice that that text "Location:" appears above "Places", but there is no text
field on its right hand side. As far as I know, the text field should appear
together with "Location:", so this is a bug.
I can force the text field to appear by clicking twice on the icon on the
far upper left (showing a paper page with a pencil, with tooltip "Type a
file name"). The first click removed "Location:", and the second click brings it
back together with the appropriate text field.
