Package: coreutils Version: 8.13-2 Severity: normal Tags: upstream On my system,
"yes -- '-nan' | head -116903 | sort -g > /dev/null" completes in under a second. while "yes -- '-nan' | head -116904 | sort -g > /dev/null" appears to hang. The same behavior is observed for "+nan". For "nan", the border is between 120150 and 120151. An older version of sort, 8.5, appears to work fine. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.38.2 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages coreutils depends on: ii dpkg 1.16.0.3 ii install-info 4.13a.dfsg.1-8 ii libacl1 2.2.51-3 ii libattr1 1:2.4.46-3 ii libc6 2.13-21 ii libselinux1 2.1.0-1 coreutils recommends no packages. coreutils suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
