FWIW, 1.8.2-2 adds a NEWS item that apt-listchanges will pick up for new users crossing the pre-1.8.2-1 to post-1.8.2-1 boundary. You won't see it of course if you're already running 1.8.2-1, but hopefully it will help others not be caught by surprise by the behavior change on stable upgrades. Bdale
