Did you consider the weird possibility that this is not intentional? This has in fact been fixed in the mesa package but I haven't copied the fix over to the mesa-legacy package. Next time I will really appreciate if you don't just assume that I have no idea what I'm doing and instead either look for the cause of the problem -- which should be obvious from reading the build log, even if the solution is not -- or just report the failure to build as reported by the compiler.
