I have just tested with the upstream version 1.5.5.2 and 1.5.5.3 and there is still the same problem. I think the problem is a bug in duplicity (http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=643846) which is resolved in unstable. I cannot update to the unstable version of duplicity at the moment to verify it, because there are too many dependent package which I do not want to install from unstable. I am gonna test it again, when duplicity 0.6.15-1 is available in testing. Thanks for your support!! Thomas
