Hi Jan, GnuGk 2.3.2 has a number of known bugs that have been fixed in the meantime, some of them resulting in a possible crash.
I would suggest that Debian switches to GnuGk 2.3.5. Until then you can use the GnuGk executable from the gnugk.org website which should run on Debian.
