None of the other syslogds support this, and adding support for this
would overcomplicate the default configuration.

It would also break reloads, unless we'd use klogd. But then, we could
just use two syslog-ngs.. (yes, klogd is smaller, and thus more secure,
and so on and so forth... but it would be equally silly to depend: on
another package whose functionality we implement fully already).

So, no, this is not going to happen.

An example config set that allows one to accomplish this could be
included under /usr/share/doc/syslog-ng/examples or something similar,
though. I'm sure patches to add the example init script, config and
HOWTO would be welcomed, even upstream.
