Package: piwigo Version: 2.2.2-1 Severity: important
By default, root owns all directories/files under /usr/share/piwigo/web/, which prevents normal use of the website right after the install (piwigo detects this authorizations mismatch and asks for change, one at a time). Giving ownership of claimed directories/files to www-data:www-data (user running the apache daemon in my case) does the trick (and is safer than changing permissions to 777, in my opinion), but the package should manage it during installation. -- System Information: Debian Release: 6.0.2 APT prefers testing-proposed-updates APT policy: (500, 'testing-proposed-updates'), (500, 'stable'), (200, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages piwigo depends on: ii apache2 2.2.16-6+squeeze3 Apache HTTP Server metapackage ii apache2-mpm-prefork [h 2.2.16-6+squeeze3 Apache HTTP Server - traditional n ii dbconfig-common 1.8.46+squeeze.0 common framework for packaging dat ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.36.1 Debian configuration management sy ii libapache2-mod-php5 5.3.3-7+squeeze3 server-side, HTML-embedded scripti ii libjs-jquery 1.4.2-2 JavaScript library for dynamic web ii libphp-pclzip 2.8.2-2 zip archive manager class for PHP ii php5 5.3.3-7+squeeze3 server-side, HTML-embedded scripti ii php5-gd 5.3.3-7+squeeze3 GD module for php5 ii piwigo-mysql 2.2.2-1 metapackage providing MySQL depend ii smarty 2.6.26-0.2 Template engine for PHP Versions of packages piwigo recommends: ii postgresql 9.1+122 object-relational SQL database (su piwigo suggests no packages. -- Configuration Files: /etc/piwigo/config_local.inc.php changed: <?php // This file allows to override the default configuration of // /usr/share/piwigo/web/include/config_default.inc.php // Examples : // $conf['prefix_thumbnail'] = 'thumb_'; // $conf['show_gt'] = true; $conf['ws_enable_log'] = true; $conf['ws_log_filepath'] = $conf['local_data_dir'].'/piwigo_ws.log'; ?> -- debconf information: * piwigo/debconf_install: false piwigo/admin_mail: admin@localhost piwigo/admin_login: admin piwigo/webserver: -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
