I also have noticed that, in some cases (the Debian BTS web pages being one notable example!), visited links fail to change style at all. I was planning to file this misbehavior as a separate bug report, but I need to test other browsers first, since it could be due to a different problem (maybe in WebKit, so perhaps I should file the report against source package webkitgtk+)...
