I confirm that, with libcairo2 1.10.2-6.1 and nVidia 285.05.09, THIS bug doesn't occur anymore. Another bug, related to trapezoid acceleration, has appeared with Xorg 1.11.1, which causes terrible slowdowns and high CPU usage. The temporary cure is a patch at http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=166698&page=2
