I have two input languages - russian and english. Mousepad freezes appear on both of them only when ibus-daemon running. It hasn't to be selected or activated, having it running is enough. But when I manually kill ibus-daemon, freezes are gone. They back when I manually run `ibus-daemon' One more thing. When mousepad freezes it can be stopped by switching to another window and back. > Out of curiosity, could you try with leafpad and report back? Installed and ran just now. Leafpad works well on every combination of input method and input languages.
