If used in an environment where there is ad-hoc wifi network, the essid of the ad-hoc network will be reported as available by network-admin, which will then try to use it as a managed network (which fails : delays on DHCP, etc). Auto-detection of the ad-hoc nature or possibility to explicitely declare the network type would be great (if it's not possible to auto-detect ad-hoc).
