I regularly use "Update folder" to refresh the feeds in my "News" folder before reading, and occasionally accidentally click on "Mark all as read" instead. Losing the unread status on all unread items in a folder could easily mean I miss something important, unless I manually trawl through every item in every feed to check, which could take many hours. Please consider moving the items apart so that it is less easy to accidentally click on "Mark all as read", or making "Mark all as read" ask for confirmation (at least when it applies to a large number of feeds).
