Hi,

the script just downloaded the *.tar.gz file and there was no message that it's installing. After restarting my firefox, i still had the old version.
So i searched for the file and extracted it manually.

What makes you think that it got not installed ?

What is the output of update-flashplugin-nonfree --install --verbose ?

I had to extract it manually.

How did you do that ?

Adobe Flash Player version: LNX 11,0,1,152
MD5 checksums:
782952c5730caa4e4cbe7e1d9dfa6214 /var/cache/flashplugin-nonfree/install_flash_player_11_linux.x86_64.tar.gz
Alternatives:
        flash-mozilla.so - auto mode
          link currently points to
/usr/lib/flashplugin-nonfree/libflashplayer.so
        /usr/lib/flashplugin-nonfree/libflashplayer.so - priority 50
        Current 'best' version is
'/usr/lib/flashplugin-nonfree/libflashplayer.so'.
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 34 Feb 8 2011 /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/flash-mozilla.so -> /etc/alternatives/flash-mozilla.so /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/flash-mozilla.so: symbolic link to `/etc/alternatives/flash-mozilla.so'

Looks all OK to me.

Regards,

Bart Martens
