Hi Tobias,
I've just applied a patch to iso-codes in Ubuntu to mark the iso-codes package
'Multi-Arch: foreign'; this indicates, per
<https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MultiarchSpec>, that iso-codes will satisfy the
dependencies of packages of other architectures when it's installed.
Since iso-codes has shared libraries as reverse dependencies, this change is
needed in order for multiarch to be used for those libraries in practice.
