Package: clamav-freshclam Version: 0.86.2-5 Severity: normal
During upgrade from 0.85.1-2 to 0.86.2-5 I obtain the message about stopping freshclam and I do not obtain the message about starting again. After the upgrade the fresclam process does not exist. If I do "/etc/init.d/clamav-freshclam start" silently it does not start freshclam. After reading the scripts I found a workaround which consist to ifdown and ifup the interface used by freshclam. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (900, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.4.22 Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-15) Versions of packages clamav-freshclam depends on: ii clamav-base 0.86.2-5 base package for clamav, an anti-v ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.4.58 Debian configuration management sy ii debianutils 2.14.3 Miscellaneous utilities specific t ii libbz2-1.0 1.0.2-8.1 high-quality block-sorting file co ii libc6 2.3.5-6 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libclamav1 0.86.2-5 virus scanner library ii libcurl3 7.14.0-5 Multi-protocol file transfer libra ii libgmp3 4.1.4-6 Multiprecision arithmetic library ii libidn11 0.5.18-1 GNU libidn library, implementation ii libssl0.9.7 0.9.7e-3 SSL shared libraries ii logrotate 3.7.1-2 Log rotation utility ii lsb-base 3.0-5 Linux Standard Base 3.0 init scrip ii ucf 2.001 Update Configuration File: preserv ii zlib1g 1:1.2.2-4 compression library - runtime clamav-freshclam recommends no packages. -- debconf information: * clamav-freshclam/autoupdate_freshclam: ifup.d * clamav-freshclam/moved_logfiles: * clamav-freshclam/new_cron: clamav-freshclam/remove_daemon_notify: * clamav-freshclam/local_mirror: db.fr.clamav.net (France) clamav-freshclam/clamav_user: * clamav-freshclam/mirrors.txt-note: * clamav-freshclam/internet_interface: eth0 * clamav-freshclam/mirrors: database.clamav.net * clamav-freshclam/proxy_user: * clamav-freshclam/NotifyClamd: false * clamav-freshclam/http_proxy: * clamav-freshclam/update_interval: 12 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
