nice one, i didn't know the ODE project. you could file as a prospective
package. (see http://www.us.debian.org/devel/wnpp/#l1 )

are you sure? i couldn't compile pyode with pyrex 0.9.3-3 or upstream's
0.9.3.1. 

i thought most gcc 4.0 issues were fixed in the -3 debian version (see
#298084). dbus and pyspeex compile fine with both 0.9.3-3 and 0.9.3.1.
