Dear Maintainer, I'm maintaining python-django-countries, a small package providing country selection fields for the Django framework. I patche upstream source to use the XML files provided by iso-codes to create to value lists for the selections. To provide translation through Django I18N I have to provide the gettext binary files as "django.mo". My next packaging release of python-django-countries would create a symlink farm, symlinking /usr/share/locale/XY/LC_MESSAGES/iso_3166.mo to /usr/share/pyshared/django_countries/locale/XY/LC_MESSAGES/django.mo It would be nice to have a trigger activated by iso-codes to keep the symlinks in sync with the translations. You could include the trigger like this: echo activate iso-codes-translation-update >>debian/iso-codes.triggers Thanks, Michael Fladischer - -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.0.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash iso-codes depends on no packages. iso-codes recommends no packages.
