Finally, with the help of Olaf Arnold (member of upstream team for
yafaray exporter), I got to a solution for the issue and pushed the
"really working" version to the git repository.
Now I'm waiting for my sponsor to upload the stuff to the official archives.
So I'm tagging this bug as pending, since it only lacks the upload to be
completely closed ;-)
