The libnetfilter-log problem is now resolved (version in unstable is ok). I have solved this issue here. Part of the fix is to use: override_dh_auto_configure: ,,,,,,,dh_auto_configure -- --with-pcap-lib=/usr/lib/$(DEB_HOST_MULTIARCH) in debian/rules.
