piuparts creates a temp_tgz if a distupgrade test is performed without
giving a tarball. But this tarball is not used to restore the system,
instead debootstrap is run a second time.
A patch series fixing this is available in

The first two patches are independent, but fix some other mis-behaviour of
tarball creation.
