Package: python2.4-psycopg Version: 1.1.19-1 Severity: important The current debian/ tree is not catered for python 2.4 build as it lacks the python2.4-psycopg.dirs file.
As a result, the psycopgmodule.so was copied to it, instead of under it. Adding the appropriate file solves the problem. However, I think the bug should be reported upstream as if the install script is run with a trailing '/' to indicate it is supposed to a directory, it will fail there instead of like it is now being unnoticed. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.31-xbox-chimpanzee-vs-ll Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages python2.4-psycopg depends on: ii libc6 2.3.5-6 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libpq4 8.0.3-15 PostgreSQL C client library ii python2.4 2.4.1-5 An interactive high-level object-o ii python2.4-egenix-mxdatetime 2.0.6-1 date and time handling routines fo -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
