Package: dspam Version: 3.6.8-9 Severity: important This bug was previously reported (http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=522950) and is unresolved.
A cronjob is installed with dspam but it does not clean if the storage driver is 'hash'. Previous advice in the archived bug suggested trying dspam_maintenance.sh, which is distributed by the upstream. I have now tested this and it works successfully, once the correct paths are set at the start of the script. This is still running on my machine and so far I have 1GB disk space back, which is not insignificant. I suggest that dspam_maintenance.sh is shipped as part of the standard package and run instead of the current cronjob. -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0.9 APT prefers oldstable APT policy: (500, 'oldstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32.26-kvm-i386-20101122 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_GB, LC_CTYPE=en_GB (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages dspam depends on: ii libc6 2.7-18lenny7 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libdspam7 3.6.8-9 DSPAM is a scalable and statistica ii libldap-2.4-2 2.4.11-1+lenny2.1 OpenLDAP libraries ii procmail 3.22-16 Versatile e-mail processor Versions of packages dspam recommends: ii clamav-daemon 0.97.3+dfsg-1~lenny1 anti-virus utility for Unix - scan ii dspam-doc 3.6.8-9 Documentation for dspam dspam suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
