aptdaemon 0.43+bzr707-1 is now in unstable. Hint for Sebastian: Yes, it includes your recent commits for the precise branch, you might want to merge the bzr branch into the precise one and create a 0.43+bzr707-1ubuntu1 release. Or actually, you might want to fix some other problems first before doing that, such as aptdaemon not starting without pkcompat (which I found out a bit late). I expect to have software-center 5.1.2 there sometime. Might want to get that one released upstream first (hint for mvo), though - I merged the current state of software-center into my local branch: ------------------------------------------------------------ revno: 2562 [merge] revision-id: [email protected] parent: [email protected] parent: [email protected] committer: Michael Vogt <[email protected]> branch nick: software-center timestamp: Thu 2011-11-17 14:01:46 +0100 message: * lp:~gary-lasker/software-center/unit-tests: - update tests for custom lists and for launcher integration ------------------------------------------------------------ Shortly after 5.1.2 is out, I could push a 5.1.2debian1 to Debian repository. I hope to have the current state of my local branch building packages tomorrow again (currently broken due to some merge conflicts resolved wrongly or whatever). mvo: It might be wise to black-list software-center on the Ubuntu side from automatic syncing, to prevent Ubuntu from syncing the Debian version then (and not use ubuntu1 in the version, that just makes it harder for me to create a sensible version and changelog). Likewise for the other packages we maintain this way (update-notifier). -- Julian Andres Klode - Debian Developer, Ubuntu Member See http://wiki.debian.org/JulianAndresKlode and http://jak-linux.org/.
