Hi all, Its been a while and for all those who are looking for Kiwix to be in Debian here is a status update.
Kiwix package is ready and already on collab-maint but currently there is a problem. Kiwix is strongly depending on XulRunner version 1.9.1 which is no more in Debian. I've reported this to upstream and upstream is working on making Kiwix work with Xulrunner 2.0 + but since this requires much work it may take some more time. Upstream has mentioned they will try to provide a build by end of the month. Once the build is out I'll make sure kiwix will make its way into debian asap.
