Package: libasound2-dev Version: 1.0.24.1-4 Severity: normal After installing libasound2-dev from the sid repository, I was unable to get ../configure to detect the ALSA libraries when run prior to the compilation of Mangler (a ventrillo client). I was able to determine that the alsa.pc file that should be present in /usr/lib/pkgconfig/ was not there. I proceeded to copy alsa.pc from the .deb package into /usr/lib/pkgconfig/ by hand and after that ./configure was able to detect the ALSA library. I was unable to determine if other packages than Mangler would compile properly without the alsa.pc file being present, however I can provide further assistance and troubleshooting if required.
