Package: gpsd-clients Version: 2.28-2 Severity: wishlist Something is wrong. All xgpsspeed seems to do is have just has some kind of orange circle flashing very fast with two black dots to the right.
Note my GPS was stationary during this test. I turn off my GPS and start xgpsspeed and see the same thing. Anyway, if no data is coming in, then don't just loop as fast as possible, blinking. Instead say "no data incoming" on the screen. And of course why no data ever comes in should be explored. By the way, all my experiments found the same results with ttyUSB0 and ttyS0. Also I ran gpsd as root, and the clients as a regular user. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable Kernel: Linux 2.6.12-1-k7 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
