Dear Maintainer,
*** Please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

   * What led up to the situation?
   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
   * What was the outcome of this action?
   * What outcome did you expect instead?

My Sound_Blaster_Live!_24_Bit soundcard, which used to serve me well for some
time does
not work anymore. It is driven by snd-ca0106 alsa kernel module. There were
several other
issues related to this reported already:
        [email protected]
        [email protected]
        [email protected]
        [email protected]
Now this seems to be the right place to file this report against.
When I try to record a few minutes of audio with audacity, the result is a file
of a few
seconds length. This does not sound right either, as you can imagine.
