This would, IMO, conflict with Debian Policy 9.2.2, which is more important for Debian than adapting to existing environments. I see your issue, but that would better be solved with a possibility to tell the installer to change these variables. I am open to suggestions to cater for your needs while keeping policy compliance inside Debian.
