In short: if libio-socket-inet6-perl is installed, hkpms:// + a SOCKS proxy defined using keyserver-options and http-proxy=socks:// does not work. That old conflict between libio-socket-inet6-perl and hkpms:// used with a SOCKS proxy has been long known (I reported it as a side bug on https://labs.riseup.net/code/issues/2677, which is now closed for good reasons). But well, at some point I feel this issue must be properly documented somewhere on the msva-perl radar, especially because it's getting hard to workaround the bug: in testing/sid, msva-perl fetches libnet-server-perl, which now depends on libio-socket-inet6-perl. I reported #607674 against libio-socket-inet6-perl some time ago, and will mark this new bug as blocked by that old one once I get the new number. Known workaround: install Squeeze's libnet-server-perl, which did not depend on libio-socket-inet6-perl, and deinstall the latter. Details: - gpg.conf reads: keyserver-options http-proxy=socks://127.0.0.1:9050 keyserver hkpms://keys.mayfirst.org - exact error messages were reported on #607674 already.
