Package: recordmydesktop
Version: 0.3.8.1+svn602-1+b1
Severity: normal

This sid system runs gnome3. today, it started showing me "standard"
(shiny, shadowy, swoopy) mode, instead of "fallback mode".

When i launch gtk-recordmydesktop, though, it triggers
recordmydesktop, and then all the gnome shell/UI trimmings
disappeared.

Since gtk-recordmydesktop's stop indicator is usually in one of those
pieces of UI trimming, i found that the only way to terminate the
recording was to kill recordmydesktop from a shell.

This is an impossible UI. I can't tell if this bug should be filed
against gtk-recordmydesktop or just recordmydesktop. feel free to
reassign it if i've got it wrong.
