Package: gconf-editor Version: 3.0.1-1 Severity: normal gconf-editor have three subwindows: left - tree with folder right - keys in selected folder bottom - context help (key documentation) for selected key
key documentation shows 4 lines: a) full key name b) owner of key c) short description d) long description key documentation lacks key type information, but we will ignore this (it can be infered from the icon of key in key list) However, I find that items b,c,d have vertical spacing beetween them, and this spacing equal c-b, d-c, but is essentially pseudorandom for each key. Every time i change different key, a labals and descriptions jumps around, without sense. It sometimes even makes last description text to be not fitting inside key documentation window - gconf-editor is sometimes tring to make it automatically larger, but fails to do this, and in such case I somehow also cannot change this subwindow size bigger (or smaller). gconf-editor should switch to other layout model (I guess this is VBox), and use small constant vertical spacing beetween elements, leaving only last entry (or adding one), which can automatically fill whole remaining space (but requests only 0, if asked).
