Gedit provide a visual right margin, but I don't see a way to wrap my documents using that right margin. I'm typically editing email or USENET posts in gedit and I would like to be able to hit a key and have the message word wrapped to 72 columns. I would like it if this would handle quoted text properly as well. That is, text prepended with a ">" or a ">>" should result in paragraphs that are properly wrapped and still quoted with ">" or ">>". This could be handled simply by providing a way to pipe the page through a filter like "par" on unix. I'll add that feature request as another bug report.
