When connecting to my POP3 server the warning message is output before the POP3 banner, which confuses my Mozilla pop3 client and prevents the client from connecting.

telnet www.highlandsun.com 110

WARNING: gnome-keyring:: no socket to connect to

Mozilla says:

"An error occurred with the POP3 mail server. Mail server www.highlandsun.com responded:"

(and nothing else.)

Why the hell are headless network services trying to talk to the Gnome keyring in the first place? The idiocy of this is astounding.
