No, the output might lead to this conclusion because it says:

TDBSAM version too old (0), trying to convert it.
TDBSAM converted successfully.
account_policy_get: tdb_fetch_uint32 failed for field 1 (min password length),
returning 0
...

but i don't understand this message too. I haven't done any configuration of
the installed system at this point, so why says the package installation that
it trys to convert an non-existant tdbsam. In addition to that, i strongly
guess the version string appeared in the first line above ( '(0)' ) isn't
valid.
To besure that there really is NOT any type of inconsistent passdb which
provokes this error, i listed /var/lib/samba and /etc/samba exactly before
the errornous installation and there is nothing but a
core /etc/samba/smb.conf and a directory /var/lib/samba/printers/ (for
automatic printer installation purpose), but no *.tdb or smbpasswd files!

The first question is exactly what i don't understand too, the second can i
answer: there is no account, no password, no user info at all, so nothing can
be found. (this is exactly what i want because i configure the ldap admin
account manually afterwards and save its passwd in tdbsam).
