Hi, I've got a similar crashing problem. I'm running version 1.0.2-2.sarge1.0.6 on i386, connecting to an cyrus21 imap server.
Whenever I try to open the email that announces DSA 816-1, thunderbird crashes. It seems that if I watch closely enough, the email does open (and gets rendered to the screen), and then a fraction of a second later thunderbird crashes. If there is anything else I can do to help narrow down the cause of the problem, let me know.
