Package: fuse
Version: 2.8.6-4
Severity: minor

Hi,

I got the following message on upgrade from fuse 2.8.6-2 to 2.8.6-4 (not sure if I've previously seen it):

Setting up fuse (2.8.6-4) ...
udev active, skipping device node creation.
update-initramfs: deferring update (trigger activated)
insserv: warning: current stop runlevel(s) (0 6) of script `fuse' overwrites
defaults (empty).

I assume there's a disparity between these that's relevant somehow:

geofft@leveret:~$ ls -l /etc/rc*.d/*fuse*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 14 Jul  3 23:16 /etc/rc0.d/K01fuse -> ../init.d/fuse
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 14 Jul  3 23:16 /etc/rc6.d/K01fuse -> ../init.d/fuse
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 14 Sep  9 13:07 /etc/rcS.d/S22fuse -> ../init.d/fuse
geofft@leveret:~$ grep update-rc.d /var/lib/dpkg/info/fuse.postinst
        update-rc.d fuse start 9 S . >/dev/null || exit $?
geofft@leveret:~$ head /etc/init.d/fuse
#! /bin/sh

This machine was installed as squeeze and upgraded to testing; the rc*.d links seem to be identical on my squeeze server.

Let me know if there's any more debugging information you'd like.
