I'm not sure what you mean, so let me describe my plans for
clarity's sake.

I don't want to push 0.9.10 into squeeze-backports merely to
workaround bugs in 0.9.8.1-1. This is not what backports are meant
for, I'm told.

However, once a few remaining bugs (mainly in the rsync handler) that
affect stable are fixed, I do intend to prepare something for s-p-u.
0.9.9 and 0.9.10 are not purely bugfix releases so I fear we cannot
push 0.9.10 as is into a stable update. A great number of bugfixes
will be worth being cherry-picked, though.
