Package: xscreensaver
Version: 5.11-1+b1
Severity: normal

Hi

I have the problem that I can't type my password when I locked the screen.
I'm using the neo2 keyboard layout (de-neo2) and I activated it system wide
with the keyboard-configuration package.

The problem occurs when I try to enter ü, ö or ä in the password field.
These keys are y, x and c on the german standand qwertz layout.

If I enter ü, ö or ä the system beeper beeps every time I enter
one of these three letters and the letter isn't typed into the password field.

I can reproduce the problem on two computers, both running Debian Squeeze.
On both I use XFCE as desktop environment. I use the version delivered with
Debian Squeeze.

Best regards
Moritz Strohm
