Hi Rolf,
"a piuparts clean archive" is a release goal since etch or lenny (too tired to
remember or look up), in any case since many years. Failing to purge is, well,
an important policy violation. It's not serious, true, but it's also not a
normal bug in a package. Debian wants to release packages which can be purged
properly to us, that's a release goal.
That said, I'm glad to learn that isdnlog found a new maintainer willing to
bring this good old package into good shape again! Have fun and enjoy the
ride!
