I've rebuild the couchdb package locally (with the usual apt-get source, apt-get build-dep, dpkg-buildpackage ...) and this rebuilt couchdb works fine. So it looks like we just need a rebuild. (And maybe some tweak to the package to auto-rebuild or block or something on erlang upgrades?)
